It's more so for the ceramic benefits. Massive reduction in heat even with the 70%

I see "they" don't make big enough parking stalls in your town either. Everywhere I go, the stalls are getting shorter.

haha well this was one of those end parking spots with none in front of me and none to my driver side so i took the opportunity to make sure no one to my passenger side would hit me

I’ve got 70% on my complete windshield. It’s amazing how big a difference it makes with heat. It’s subtle but does sorta keep folks from seeing in through the front too.

Has anybody measured the front driver/passenger windows? NH law requires 70% transmittance for these two windows and they do check at inspection, unfortunately. I'd like to at least get some Llumar Air 90 9or better yet 80) on there, but am curious what the factory glass meters at.

I'm sure they will. There's no point in even driving out if the factory glass is already <=70% transmittance, which is why I'm asking before I try to book time at the shop and spend an hour with traffic figuring it out.

A lot of people may disagree with this but,

I did 20% all the way around just so the "color" blended in better with the factory tint. The did a 5% sun strip to the A/s1 line on the windshield. (Anything below that is a yearly inspection failure where I'm at)

What film have you used that matches the factory look?

Just to be clear the factory does not tint the windows. It's just darkened glass. It provides zero protection. Therfore if you use ceramic on the front, but don't do the rears you are throwing money away. 20% will match the rear windows close enough just dont do ceramic then. I have 5% all the way except 50% on the front. I have a prescription, but have never been stopped for tint. I think cops have better shit to do in TX. Everybody here I see has illegal tint, including my 3 rides.

As others have said, 20%. Go with Llumar if you can
