Three. I timed my dealer appt with a dentist appt and continued to work on my laptop from there; kept me busy hence wasn’t wasted. And how many hours wasted? Lol
For symmetry, I would have preferred to store jack base in the center, however it would interfere with lid closing rod/lock/mechanism. Two rivett nuts and a couple of matching wing bolts did the trick to secure it in place. It permits easy removal of jack base and can slide off to the right from under traction boards and jack.Slick way of storing the jack base!
Thanks to a link @Johnv76 sent, I was able to order 17" 200lbs struts which are now installed and theres no danger of the heavy lid with the gear load below, slamming now. I kept the others as a backup in case one fails, time will show.Installed one 200lb gas strut on one side only since these were 20” long as opposed to 17” ones installed earlier (couldn’t get 200lbs in 17”). One longer and one standard size helps retain original opening angle unless I devise another restraining method to restrict opening further than necessary.
Also secured base stand for the hi-lift jack in the space between the jack and recovery boards.
And finally the shovel and shovel guard in place.
