What did you do to your AT4 today?

The tool arrived today. Can’t use it just yet. Farm Jack arriving later today. Bolts from HD and the full rivet set from Amazon and the second Putco Molle panel all arriving this Friday; with family and expected to stay until Sunday, no chance of installing anything new until next week.

Nice you will like that setup. You will end up finding so many things to use riv nuts for now that you have it lol.

Some more progress in the truck bed yesterday afternoon following guests departure from Hotel Pinebaron; our home is not a hotel but often feels like one LOL.
I know I posted these in another thread but felt compelled to post them in this thread.
Installed driver side Putco Molle Panel and recovery straps, winch extension, tree saver and kinetic rope; managed to retain cargo tie-down rings on both sides, a little tricky but easily manageable.
What's left to do this week: Install Hi-Lift 48" X-Treme jack (plus accessories recommended by @gemarsh) and ActionTrax Metal Teeth recovery boards below tonneau cover lid, @Johnv76 style, both great influencers/mentors (y)

I was going to wait til after the new year to look for new tires, but after a few inches of snow the last couple days, I'm shopping early. After 30k miles, the factory tires are about shot, and I noticed just the slightest amount of dry rotting near the tread the last time I washed it. Not to mention, the terrible howling they do on the highway. Since I'm looking at tires, I've also decided to look at wheels. Been driving myself nuts comparing offsets and examining pictures the last couple days. Pretty big commitment, so I want to only do it once.

Finally finished installing 48" Hi-Lift X-Treme Farm Jack and ActionTrax Metal Teeth recovery boards below tonneau cover. This was only possible with constant help from @Johnv76 and I'm grateful for his patience and guidance at every step. Not to forget @gemarsh with advise on Hi-Lift and its accessories; a special thanks to him too.

Still have a few bits and pieces but the main recovery gear is all done. I have a Shovel Guard on order for the deadly looking shovel.

👍

A protecting cover for the Krazy Shovel came in today. The shovel will go back on passenger side Molle panel.
One more addition to recovery gear and even stronger 200lbs gas struts to go into the tonneau cover tomorrow; it’s surely going to be enough to safely raise and particularly safely lower the now heavier lid with jack and traction boards mounted below.

Installed one 200lb gas strut on one side only since these were 20” long as opposed to 17” ones installed earlier (couldn’t get 200lbs in 17”). One longer and one standard size helps retain original opening angle unless I devise another restraining method to restrict opening further than necessary.
Also secured base stand for the hi-lift jack in the space between the jack and recovery boards.
And finally the shovel and shovel guard in place.
