What did you do to your AT4 today?

I know to each his own, but gotta ask- have seen a few of you on here wanting to change the suspension on a “X”. You gotta pay extra to get a “X” with the stuff it has, one big one being the all new great riding suspension. Why not get a AT4 to mess with? The money saved will prolly pay for suspension change.
Glad you asked this question, I bought a late 2023 AT4 loaded. I am having some buyer's remorse not buying an X version. But then I look, and most shops are pulling the shocks on the X in favor of something else when doing lift kits. I don't get it. Aesthetically the X interior may be more appealing to some, but not me. I like the caramel and black. I hate the look of the AEV front bumper. I prefer the color matched skirt. They should make the skirt easy off for off road. My other ride is a 2021 Escalade ESV sport so I've got the luxury. I am only bummed I did not get the front & rear lockers.

When your bakflip is propped up against your rear windshield does it obstruct your bed view camera or can you still see most of the bed? Would really appreciate this info. Thanks.
Doesn't obstruct the bed view camera. Can sometimes blue the camera a little just at the front of the bed, but still can see 90% of the bed.

Thank you very much for this info! Not one of my local dealers could answer this question. They are selling the REV version of the flip back but my understanding is it's virtually identical to the Bakflip in measurements and design. I know for a fact some of the 3rd party ones like Bison and CW are cut differently and when flipped up are higher than the cab completely blocking the brake light and cams.

Mine is the Rev as well. Doesn't block.
Bison definitely does. Their own rep confirmed it for me. I would have gone bison otherwise just on price.

That's literally where I'm at! Was going to pull the trigger on a Bison but noticed this discrepancy in their product pictures. I called them yesterday to confirm so now I have no choice but to get the REV from dealer for double the price all because I don't want that camera obstructed! I'm assuming though with the Bison, the last remaining panel on your bed, when folded up, must be smaller exposing more of your bed in this instance since it's cut to fold much higher than the REV.

The Rev is four panels on the version for the HD trucks, and three for the 1/4 ton beds.
The bison was three regardless. Hence why it would cover.
There is a very small part of the panel that doesn't fold at all. It's what keeps the thing secured to the bed rails.
I got lucky that a guy was selling his for $900 and almost new. His truck came with it, and almost always hauled a gooseneck trailer. So he took it off, and had no need for it. Retail is $1400+ here in Canada.
Don't pay the dealer to install. It's super simple and less than a half hour to do yourself.

Thanks, ya $14xx CAD at my local dealer couple provinces over (I'm assuming you're in AB ;) ) and I plan to install myself, likely this afternoon! I have the 1/2 ton and to be clear both REV and Bison are 3 panel covers for my truck but, as we've been discussing, the Bison WILL cover my brake light/cameras (even with 3 panels) whereas the REV (and MX4) will not. This has to be because of the length of the remaining last small segment that remains on your truck when all 3 are folded up against your windshield.

Anyone have experience with the Rough Country option? Saw it was around $650-700 and it has peaked my interest.

So care to elaborate as to why you provided me with incorrect information? Based on your replies I went and picked up and installed the REV cover that same day and the bed camera is indeed completely blocked. I'm not trying to start an argument but rather I'm posting this so when others search for this same information (as I had been doing) they'll be aware that the REV hard flip tonneau cover for my 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 does indeed block the bed camera (but not the rearview mirror camera).

I still see at least half of the bed. Maybe you have more weather stripping on the bulkhead of the bed that makes it sit up higher. Like I said, I bought mine slightly used. Had to add my own weather stripping.
Sorry it didn't work for you. Take it back, and get a roll up one. Clearly that's what you need if you want 100% unobstructed view of the bed.

My first oil change with Derby and rotated the tires. Installed my Fumoto valve so the next oil change will be even easier. Oil filter is in a tighter spot then my last truck.

I agree with @tgould_yyc. No real obstructions.
