What did you do to your AT4 today?

Got my new wheels, tires, and spacers installed. Tires are 285/65R20 (35x11.5”) Ridge Grapplers mounted on powder coated factory AT4 wheels. 1.25” BORA wheel spacers for a little poke. Have to do some trimming to stop the rubbing, but won’t be terrible.
This looks amazing. Where did you find those mirrors? Do they fold in and etc when locking? Plug and play?

They are a factory option that I got on the truck. The only thing that I changed was the chrome covers to gloss black. Yes, they are power fold. However, they do not have power extend like the ones on my HD.

Nice I’m going to have to check because the dealer said aftermarket ones aren’t available yet I guess…
What tint % you got in there?
And any lift with the wheels? How’s the rubbing?

Are they OEM covers or aftermarket? I'm looking to do the same to mine when it gets here. If they're OEM, do you happen to have the part numbers?

Boost Auto has the tow mirrors for the 19-24 1500's.

Also have the caps (don't have the Gloss Black but have ones you can paint yourself)

I'm getting the tow mirrors from the factory on mine, and I'd prefer to stay OEM if at all possible. I did know about the BoostAuto option for the caps, but thanks for looking out.

I agree with you 100%. I like to stay OEM myself. I wanted to through it out there as I think someone was looking for the mirrors also.

I see they have the tow mirrors on the GMC site under parts but don't see the gloss black caps available.

If you're talking about the gloss black covers, I found them on eBay (here). They seem like good quality. I haven't had any issues with them so far. I do have PPF on them, though, so I'm sure that helps.

I have 50% tint on the full windshield, 20% windshield brow, and 20% on the front windows to match the rears.

I have roughly a 2" level on top of the factory level with Fox 2.5" coilovers and Cognito UCAs in the front. I have Fox 2.0s in the rear and Airlift bags for towing/hauling. I trimmed some metal and my factory mudflaps; there is no rubbing, even with the spacers.

@MontyMoose - If the mirrors are the same as the HD tow mirrors looks like they have the black painted ones listed. Comparing the chrome cap part numbers between 1500 and 2500 they are the same so guessing the painted black from 2500 would fit 1500.

@cwhite3 - I think these were the same numbers I found (I have them written down at home), but I had yet to find anyone else that could verify that. The parts & service departments at several local GMC dealers wouldn't say if the tow mirrors for the 1500 & 2500 were identical or not, though I assumed they were as it wouldn't make much sense to NOT use the same tow mirrors between them. Thanks!

Posted this on the battery terminal thread too, but people might not look there for accessory switch solutions.

This shows the Garmin PowerSwitch bluetooth switch and a ground bar mounted on the top of the fuse box in the engine compartment. I’d prefer another location, but couldn’t find one with all the oversized plastic and other BS under the hood. This is secure, and I left enough slack to access the fuses, but the idea bothers me. As crowded as the space under my jeep hood is, there was ample room for mounting an SPOD on its own aluminum platform… Still, this works, and it doesn’t look awful.

clean install and looks good.

Guys I’m going to order the Gator Back flaps for my truck this afternoon While I do not want any logos I was just wondering what’s best option
Order with or with out the plate? I see they offer an anodized plate but was a little concerned it could be to heavy.
Any advice, pictures, suggestions

Thanks

I would recommend the plate. It stiffens up the rubber hanging down a bit. It will allow you to kick the backside of the flap to dislodge mud, snow or ice off.
