Waiting on GM (Borla) Performance Exhaust To Arrive

Everything arrived and installed like a dream. It was not cheap but very pleased with the install and View attachment 4630View attachment 4631View attachment 4632looks.
Looks great! I'm sure it sounds great too.

Where did you get your GMC logo from? I like that the chrome has been blacked out but the lettering is still black. The official GMC "black" ones are black letters but still chrome trip.

I did the same thing and yes, they are a PITA to get off. :ROFLMAO:

Awesome Truck! This is the GM performance exhaust made by Borla? this is the Touring Model? Trying to decide on which to get
Yes, this is the factory exhaust by Borla. It's not the duel outlet muffler but the single in single out. According to Borla, there is a difference however, I am not sure what that difference is. I am really pleased with it so far. With this set up I could always swap out to the S-Type muffler if I wanted.

I have the Borla touring system from Borla. It’s a nice sounding exhaust. I checked with them to make it the S-Type and they wanted $854 just for the parts. I said no way! I’ll keep the touring system and I’m happy with it.

FYI: I have a 2022 AT4X STOCK exhaust (CAT Back) for a 6.2 L gas engine FOR SALE….

It’s located in So. Cal. Shipping costs are on the BUYER.

One cut between the muffler and the rear “Y” an easy weld to complete a reinstall.

The rest of the exhaust is intact and will be simple to reinstall.

pictures are available, if interested.

Make me an offer.

How well have these held up? How close is the red on the emblem to the factory at4 red?
They all have held up well except for the tailgait. I purchased new ones for it as the letters fadded. It was a different company. I thought they were very close in color but I never held them to a GM factory emblem. I dont think anyone would notice. especially since you can buy just about any combo of colors including red white and blue. I would definatley go with factory GMC on the tailgate as ity gets the most direcrt environmental factors. My front is protected by a brush guard and I just got new factory letters because a deer hit my front end.

I have gone through 2 sets of painted exhaust tips and they have rusted and peeled off from high temps and use. One set I spent a lot of hours doing myself, another from a manufaturer. I was thinking of buying Borla exhaust tips. They are $864 for black and $1776 for carbon fiber. Besides the price, Borla doesnt gurantee they wont rust or peel, pit etc. I dont live in the rust belt and we dont use salt in Montana so Im not to worried about that but if they wear out just because of usage like my others then its a huge waste of $$$$. I might buy and go back to chrome. Im not sure what Im going to do. My truck is in the shop after a deer commited self termination on my front end. Its about $18000 right now and I might have it back by October 1. Ive been truckless for over a month. Its depressing.
