Don’t have any pictures handy at the moment. I had purchased the lpx with the 7pin connector, after figuring it it wouldn’t work I bought the harness I posted above. I made an adapter with the connector off of the 7pin harness and a 4pin trailer plug and everything works perfect. Not hard to do, worst part is the vled connector wire colors don’t match the 7pin wires so you have to trace the wires and make sure you match the right ones. I’ll try to get a picture of the adapter I made tomorrow.

I know I’m a pain, do you remember what wires went to what? I’m trying to figure out the tracing and having a hard time never fully having done it before

This is how mine is set up. If you have a taillight harness like I bought it’ll have the 4 pin connector and a 5th wire that is the reverse lights, that wire connects to the yellow on my vled harness. I loosely connected all the wires and tested it to make sure it all worked properly. I’d suggest doing the same to be safe.

I bought the LPX as well as the LP relay kit. Does anyone know of this combination will work on the 2024 AT4X ? I plan to have a shop install it as I am not smart enough to do so but at 100$/hr I don’t want to bring it there and find out hundreds of dollars later it cannot be done. I figured the 7-pin wouldn’t work as it activated the towing on the AT4X. I figured hardwiring it was the way to go and it talked about how there was an issue with the canbus so to add the relay kit and it should be fine. Any help would be appreciated they are do to arrive in 2 days. Just want to make sure I have all the parts needed. And that it will work with no errors

I’d say follow what snake did. It completely solves the towing activation stuff. It was very easy to do as well. I got a 4 pin plug from autozone and just wired it all together. The color schematic that snake provided was perfect as well

This works perfectly fine for the 2024 AT4x. I have no issue with it and it’s fully installed you just need both parts

I have the original LPR which is a couple of years old. The new one they have is brighter and apparently may pull a little more power. I am going to have to pull a tail light and verify since it has been a little over 2 years since I installed it. If I remember right, I tapped into the driver side reverse light wiring in the taillight housing. Like I mentioned, it has been a little over 2 years ago, but I have had not had any problem with it and it does have LED reverse lights. My first thought was change the bulbs, but I couldn't due to it being LED's.
