Useless Fog Lights

I am trying but the truck is at the dealership doing the software update lol. Should be done today just a matter of time on when its done.
I still remember the 'good ole days' when the only fancy thing a car had was an electronic ignition which eliminated a need to fiddle with the distributor, capacitors, points etc. Then along came central locking and electric windows. Those days were so simple, I miss them sometimes.

LOL, its was nice, but the newer features are cool. I do miss the old days.

All, installed and working. Takes about a hour or two depending on you mechanical know how. I did not hook up the DRL for mine.

A: The Foxbeam mounts are brittle, and can brake easily if your not careful. B: Use hand tools for the install. C: Mount the Diode Dynamics lights to the Foxbeam mounts, and snug down so you don't have any movement.

D: There is no instructions to show you what light goes on which side, so when removing the oem for lights, you can see how the oem mount is oriented in there, so when mounting the new ones.

E: When mounting the new light, make sure the lights electrical socket is at the bottom and not at the top. This will insure you have the correct light, and mount on the correct side. Below is the passenger side.

F: To access the fog light mount, you will need to remove both under belly sides, and skid plate.

G: Make sure when hooking up the connectors, test to make sure the light is working before you mount the light up and snug everything down. The Diode Dynamics connector, connecting into the factory harness appears to plug in either way. So you may have connected it upside down if the light is not working. So test before you mount the lights. Good luck, it wasn't to bad.

That's a significant improvement in output. It's a shame the brackets are "flimsy" at this price point.

Yeah the brackets are a bit brittle, however once installed they will hold up and appear to be just fine. I had to order another set as one of mine came cracked out of the box. "note that is not Diode Dynamics fault" Since I did have that other pair being shipped i was a bit harder on this set while testing the fit of them while installed. they do not move, and are strong enough since being installed.

Apparently the backets are 3D printed; need something beefier and durable.
