Negative;
I spoke with a couple of vendors at an Overland Upfitters event and they said I can put 37s right on these wheels mounting directly to my 2500 AEV edition without any issues.
You have 18 inch rims? Is your truck lifted higher than the AT4?

Yes the stock AEV Salta wheel is 18". Apparently with a high bead wall?

I believe the AT4X is slightly higher than the AT4, and the AEV has a great deal more clearance around the wheel wells.
Makes sense, I'd like to shove 37's in but that sounds like it would be a problem.

That's correct. The AT4X 2500 is about 1.5" taller than the AT4 2500. I'm planning to convert my suspension components over to the AT4X setup in Feb. I have all the parts (upper and lower control arms, knuckles, u-bolts, rear lift block, etc.) in my garage now. Just waiting for my bonus to order new wheels and tires.

I can't speak to the AEV version beyond saying the front bumper on the AEV does offer more space for larger tires. Not sure if the wheel liners are different though.

Posting in case it can be of any help to those who may be considering this. Nitto RG 295/65/20, no rub-factory suspension. Thanks phobby for your help.
Do you happen to have a front or rear view of the truck? Trying to determine the poke one these. I'd like to put spacers on now, but not buy new tires yet. My concern is when I more to a larger /wider tire there will be too much poke for my liking. Thank you

I do not have front or rear view pics but can tell you there is no poke-tires are flush with the fenders.

A short term problem is you cannot get the Mickey Thompson Baha Boss AT in 37" on an 18 inch wheel
Besides my Mickey Thompsons are warrantied to 50,000 miles which will take me another eight years or more to get there. I'm pretty sure this is my last truck ever.

I have the MT Baja Boss on my jeep, love them. Would like to put on my AT4x HD but also found they don’t come in 18” with the 37’s and I am keeping stock wheels.

37”x12.50x18” in a three mountain peak is very hard to get. The new BFG KO3’s come in the right size now but don’t have the needed weight capacity for the 3/4 ton.

Checked out the new BFG HD’s and they have the right size but don’t come with the 3 mountain peak rating.

Looks like my only option which I plan on going with is the TOYO Open County AT III. Not my favorite tire but meets all the specs.
