Unable to update

Did the dealer still update or did they let it OTA update? Did they say anything about your Idash causing the issue?
Dealer performed the update. No mention of iDash, but I do disconnect it from the OBD2 before dropping it off. It's still mounted above the dash so thet know I have one. The one time I didn't disconnect it was the only time I had a service manager even mention it.

I wonder if there’s an update that is killing my battery. I’ve heard of things not turning off.

I've read on here of that happening. I had a failed update a few months ago that kept my radio and screen on but they would eventually turn off after 10-15 minutes.

That’s a very common issue. Reset your vehicle from the entertainment screen. Better still disconnect both batteries (if you have one or two) for around 30 minutes. Reconnect and follow update prompts in an area served with a strong WiFi signal linked to your infotainment system.

It was just at the dealer for 2 days and I am surprised they didn’t say anything about an update.

I never update that worthless tech.
Certainly your choice but if you have a 25 or newer

“The owner is responsible for ensuring all -provided Over-the-Air software updates are installed within 45 days of software availability to the vehicle. Damage resulting from failure to install Over-the-Air software updates is not covered.”

OTA updates and warranties

I checked my 24 warranty and this statement was not there
