Something your truck does you didnt know it did?

In a 1500 if you shift between 2x4 and 4x4, the truck dies if you touch the console shifter.

I clicked the truck back into 2wd and bumped the console shifter forward going to park- whole truck just shutoff.

My '21 have them. The steps are called Multipro steps, to go along with the Multipro tailgate theme.

I don't know if'n they are available on the AT4 or if it's just the Denali's. Never looked into it.

ETA...the steps can be controlled by a piano key on the dash also. Allows one to extend the steps out from the seat. Nice at truck washes.
My 23 has the button to extend the steps to the down position, but don't slide backwards. Another way to make the steps stay in the down position is to keep your foot on the steps when you close the door and it will stay down.

I find that's handy when I'm washing or cleaning the truck.

For some reason I long pressed the GMC app on an android phone. As you know when that is done, you get a dialog box to appear to...uninstall, delete or select.

While this is true with the GMC app, the dialog box also has shortcuts for the...lock, unlock, start and stop buttons found on the remote and inside of the app...

Dang. I hate opening that app. This is a time saver for sure!

My GMC came with the electric running boards. On my other trucks I always added AMP running boards. When the truck was new, my son-in-law showed me a 1" x 3" block on the rear end of both running boards. When you tap the block with your foot, the running board comes down and moves about a foot to the rear so you can stand on it and wash the rear windows or reach into the bed......nice feature.
was the sensor on the running boards or in the area? That would be awesome
