Okay, Just got my brand new - 2500 a week ago and I need all the little cool tricks that this thing does that you dont know it did. If it hadnt been 100 damn degrees every day this week I would have spent more time in it trying to figure out all the things it does.

My questions is whats something that you figured out later that your truck does that you didnt know it did?

For some reason I long pressed the GMC app on an android phone. As you know when that is done, you get a dialog box to appear to...uninstall, delete or select.

While this is true with the GMC app, the dialog box also has shortcuts for the...lock, unlock, start and stop buttons found on the remote and inside of the app...

But, just to be clear, it works on the last vehicle that was looked at in the app, not the one in your head that you want started.

I did the long press on icon and clicked start, only to go out to the shed and find the wrong truck running. 🤪
I only have 1 vehicle in the app so that kinda nice for me. Thanks for the tip.

Sweet I'm going to use that!! I never use the app for our others so this will be handy

I had been trying to hit that tiny notification icon touch target with my finger on that wide dash screen to see what notifications I had. Turns out you can swipe down from the top of the screen to see notifications. I figured that one out accidentally.

My GMC came with the electric running boards. On my other trucks I always added AMP running boards. When the truck was new, my son-in-law showed me a 1" x 3" block on the rear end of both running boards. When you tap the block with your foot, the running board comes down and moves about a foot to the rear so you can stand on it and wash the rear windows or reach into the bed......nice feature.

If you haven’t used the MyGMC app in a while, the new update no longer requires press and hold. They went back to one click like the old App.
I noticed that. Also, when I used to start my truck I could adjust my inside temp in the app, and now I cannot. Can anyone help me with this?

My 23 3500 HD AT4 doesn't do that, but I wish it did!
