Shocks and such...

Looks great, I like the idea of upgraded wheels on the trailer. Man this might've done it for me. I think I'll be getting the RAS and hopefully this trailer in the near future.

If I was going to do it again I would do the 235/85R16 tires. Only because that would bump it up just a little more and give a little more clearance from bottom of trailer to over the bed rail.

I was worried they wouldn’t clear but there is a bunch of room. There is a Facebook page for these trailers and several guys have done it there.

I just have to report back. I'd add a picture but I didn't think of it till I got in the office. I put the RAS in about 2 weeks ago, and we just swapped our TT out for a 5th wheel. We went with the 298bh and I was impressed with the tow. With a gas truck I averaged 7.0 MPG for the whole trip and the truck sits near exactly level with the RAS. Incredibly pleased and hopefully we got a setup that will last for a long time. Thanks for the input!

Congrats! Definitely send photos when you can.

Does the RAS increase the unladen height of the truck. That’s my fear with it.

Yes I have mine adjusted to the softer setting on the RAS and it was about 1/2" to 3/4" it added. Not sure what the stiffer setting would add and I probably won't find out unless something drastically changes with weight since everything is sitting real nice currently.

IMO I don't think it looks bad, but you can definitely tell a difference.

I've had the RAS and personally prefer airbags over the RAS. Airbags offer a smoother ride without rake when unloaded and are much easier to adjust.
