RSI Smart Cap

Does anyone have an RSI SMART Cap, a Decked system, and an intermediate gunner kennel? I am trying to see if there is enough space for the kennel and the Decked system. The measurements say there should be an inch but I would like to see if anyone has it already.

Did you ever get any answers on this as I have the same question on my 2500 as I want to make sure the kennel will fit before buying the smart cap.
