What's new

Picking up ‘25 AT4

I was in between about those and luckily I did man. Truck is great I love it I’m glad I made the change from my RAM 3500 Laramie. Night and day difference with this truck.
I've had one ford and several GMs, never had a Dodge. I'm just curious, what do like / dislike about the Ram / GMC so far?

Fit and finish is a lot better in the GMC by FAR. This is coming from me which I’ve had a new heavy duty ram every year since 2014. The transmissions on the rams are very rough, you will feel each and every shift, you can tell you’re driving a heavy duty truck. 5-6 gear shifts always felt like slipping gears. Finish on the ram was always sub par, I was never happy. My last 2022 was bought back due to paint contamination, my 2024 had to have its dash replaced with 500 miles due to bubbling, I can keep going but I’m glad I made the change. I haven’t ran the sierra along time but so far in 500 miles it definitely drives better, fit and finish is a lot better.

The interiors on my older GM trucks were pretty basic. They really stepped it up in the 24 and up HDs. Good luck with your new truck!

Thanks man, yeah the older interiors didn’t really sell me. The interior in my Laramie wasn’t that bad, but I rather have the new gmc interior all day as its finish is better I believe. All my rams were deleted and never had the power this gmc has not even deleted.
