I checked out 2 different steps. #1 here:one thing to consider is that the high clearance assist steps don't help much in getting into the cab in terms of how high one has to step up. I'd consider something else if the family needs more than just a little help.

Both are pretty pricey, but I need something so my wife can easily get into the truck (and me too).
I'm just not sure how the NY winters will affect them, but I park in the garage all the time and it's not like I'm parked outside in a snowstorm.
Installation is easy except for the wiring, that's pretty involved. I wanted to buy the towing mirrors,

with the money but the steps are more important. You know what they say, happy wife, happy life!
I just can't decide which steps I want. I think the less moving parts, the better. What do you guys think?
