OBDLink- Carbyte DFM Disabler for 2024

I have a solution for the tailgate drop alarm/indicator; have tested it on the bench, have to install it on the truck. I was waiting to install tailgate seal which is finally done.

I don't know if my 23 AT4X has a tailgate drop alarm/indicator. I haven't noticed it. Interested in your info and solution!

No it does not. Although my solution needs some microsurgery with parts purchased, it will work; not quite plug and play.

Thank you! Do you know which fuse it is? Does pulling this fuse cause anything else to not work, or cause any other issues? Appreciate the response - this would be a very simple fix.

I think this is the one but I do know it's labeled on the fuse panel on the drivers side of the dash. The labeling is on the cover so you will see it when you take the cover off. Disabled all functions of the tailgate including both tailgates with truck mounted button and remote. If it was a standard blade fuse I would have been able to easily install a switch for it but couldn't find the parts for the square fuses. I did find there are a few different types but similar of those fuses.

Thanks a ton! Really appreciate it!

Not that I use it, but does this also make the Kicker BT speaker not work? I have used it maybe once.

I also dislike the keyfob tailgate drop button, hit that on accident the other day while my job trailer was attached (was parked, truck not on). Luckily, the angle of how the trailer was located to the truck meant the tailgate did not hit my lift crank (which will hit right at the top of the tailgate if it is dropped).

Again, thanks so much for taking the time for the pic and instructions! Will be pulling this fuse later today.
