New to GMC and Diesel

Hello to you all,

After a good stint and a lot of money spent on my 2019 Chevy Silverado, the not tough decision was made to buy a new 2026 GMC 1500 Sierra AT4 with the 3.0L Duramax. A few guys I work with have recently switched to diesels and have good things to say and high hopes so far.

I have never owned a diesel before and have a lot to learn. I am joining the forum to learn as much as possible and hopefully get ahead of some things with the forum members advise to keep this new truck happy and healthy for a long time to come.

I appreciate you all letting me in and look forward to the education.

Don’t put DEF in the diesel. I know too many guys and gals that have made that costly mistake!

First, wheres6 the pics?! Second, welcome! Third, this is my first diesel also and have had it for 2 years and am loving it. Can't been 30+mpg on the highway!
