New 25’ 3.0-What can I do under the hood that wont void the warranty?

How is this accomplished?
There are a few companies making Cold Air Intakes for the baby max.

And there are a couple of ways of bypassing the start/stop switch at startup. I use the auto stop eliminator as they were the first to hit the market...

Thank you! and yes, I'm new here so I apologize for the stupid questions in advance.

What oil you guys use on the baby max
I use Delo 600 ASF CK-4 15w-40. Use a higher number of for a thicker viscosity if you’re in a state with high temperatures. The lower numbers are too thin and will beat up your engine making it work twice as hard.

I’m seriously late to the game here…

Adding a watch battery operated under the hood light would probably be the only thing GM will have a hard time using to deny any warranty claims. Just make sure to zip tie it securely or they might say it touched some component thereby causing xyz failure of the engine. 🤣😂🤣

Welcome to the 3.0 world! check out demonworks in YT. Lots of good babymax content. As for mods, I went to my dealer and asked the service manager. Then I asked if they could install any of the parts. Got a good answer on what my limits would be.

Were they willing to install aftermarket items? If so then that you are fortunate because it’s a rarity. What are aftermarket mods are they ‘good’ with?

They were good with bolt ons like trans coolers, extended capacity pans, etc. they were not cool with anything emissions related. So no oil catch cans if I brought it in. They did question my Banks iDash to make sure it was not a tuner.

First GMC I’ve owned. I’ve owned F150’s so I know the Ford do’s and don’ts.
My salesman was honestly pretty clueless.
I’m obviously not going to just trust everything I hear on here and due my diligence with my dealership before I just start bolting stuff up.

Looking for a general list of things guys have done and would be willing to share that make the babymax shine.

Cheers!
I got my 1500 AT4X AEV diesel in March. Before that I had a TRX, and before that a Raptor. It felt incredibly sluggish to me when I first got it. One of the best mods that I’ve found on the GMC is the pedal commander. Makes a HUGE difference on acceleration and response time (and I don’t use the highest setting). I also have a CAI and resonator delete, but added those after the pedal commander.

I’m thinking of an AFE DPF back exhaust, but not sure if it would help or not.
