I also like the front of the Silverado. The black plastic grill is much more simple and should not have a peeling problem. I was OK with the added cost for the GMC, but in reality, the Chevy is a much better deal if you don't need the goodies included on the GMC. Sunroof and tailgate audio are 2 things I really never wanted. When I build a ZR2, it is aa full 8k less than the AT4X, and actually includes 2 extra things - the upfitter switches and console safe / underseat storage (I did not add those to my GMC build). It does lose front bumper sensors for some reason, I would happily pay for them if offered. I don't think the ZR2 seats are real leather, but they honestly felt softer than regular AT4 seats. Maybe it is just the material. As for build time, I quickly found a dealer to order and sell at invoice cost. 1st on their allocation list, but they don't yet have one. The GMC went super fast at 7 weeks, but the dealer had the allocation ready to go when I placed a deposit. I am not in a rush, but after walking away from the gorgeous Sierra, I hope the ZR2 build gets grabbed sooner than later.I think the ZR2 front end looks great. Both are incredible trucks and I was going between the at4 and zr2 since they're so similar in price. However a ZR2 gasser was not within 200 miles and there were only like 1-2 in the country with fifth wheel prep. And it seemed like if I ordered the ZR2 it was going to take longer to get.
