My gmc app no longer list my truck with engine recall

I'm going out on a limb here but I don't think that engine will make it out of warranty. Did the dealer listen to that and said nothing is wrong? I would drive it like you stole it for another 15,000 then sell it, unless you buy an extended warranty.
Why would I buy an extended warranty, this recall gives you one now till 10 years/150k on the engine. And who would buy my truck knowing the engine has been recalled!

The warranty they are giving you is for the crank bearing issues only. If your engine fails I bet they find another reason for the failure and it won't be covered. The dealers are taking these trucks on trade and are selling them if the recall is performed. So there is a market for them. Lots of buyers may not even know about the problem would be my guess. Just speculation but they are great at not covering problems.
That knock sounds bad on the video I would be mad as hell.
I had lifter roller failure on a 2009 5.3 Sierra I bought new and they put a cam and lifters in it and they would not do the cam bearings at 20,000. At 30,000 the oil psi went from 45psi pre failure to 30psi. I sold it. It was the best truck in the snow I ever had.
