Seems it disappeared first of this week. No outstanding recall for the L87 loss of propulsion. It’s not in active or completed recall list. I have not called dealer in about 3 weeks, maybe I should now. It still shows the recall on NHSTA website when I put my vin in.

To be honest I’m getting a little pissed off with mishandling of this. My truck runs fine but I’d like to know one way or the other. I have life plans and a truck motor blowing up causes big issues with those plans.

The recall no longer shows up in the app for me either. A while ago, I received a letter that said my AT4X was part of the recall. I have not received the second letter that is supposed to tell me to make an appointment for the inspection.

Yea me either same thing two letters just telling me I’m under a recall but no letter to true it in with my vin on it. I was under the impression they had to have all the letters to bring it in sent out by Sept 30th.

Yea just like that mines gone now as well. Very frustrating! GM confidence sliding with me as the days go by.

My C8 Corvette may soon fall in the recent fire issue making headlines fueling up the vehicles. GM is just imploding daily.

Mine is still showing the recall on the app and I received letter #2 in May but I am still waiting as well for letter#3 to bring it in for the inspection. It is very frustrating!!! I bought this to travel in and now I don't trust it! It's an awesome truck minus the motor issue and all the tech glitches. I still lose all my Sirusxm presets weekly.

Ok so I checked the app this morning and it had a banner on the main app page on the recall telling me to schedule service for it. Bold print said required! So I hit schedule appointment and it was approved for tomorrow morning Sept 5th at 7:30 am. Who knows I’m liable to drive it there and they’ll tell me they’re not ready for it. No vin block letter in hand I’m basing this all on a app that’s been acting crazy the last few weeks not showing a recall then showing a recall then telling me to schedule the service it’s required. Just crazy and very confusing.

And within a minute of getting the appointment approved I get the complementary car fax related email telling me about the recall and says “remedy available” so it’s a legit check I assume.

Well it’s officially in the system. I hope to know later today if it’s a bad engine or an oil change. Runs fine but I’m no picoscope. My truck is the white one on the left.

My truck passed. Case closed on this issue. Warranty extension will show up in about a week on my app he said.
Was told my truck was not on the recall list but still only have the original warranty. They don’t even offer the extended warranty or oil change only telling me that because mine was not in the date range I don’t follow into those options. But I plan on talking to the dealership manager and see what he can do. The guy in the service department is a loon and very rude

Same with me but I don't share the same optimism or confidence in their handling of this OR the engine itself. I only have 15k on the truck, it's been intermittently knocking since day one, I go in and out of service with them telling me they "can't reproduce". Finally it's my turn to complete the recall process. Inspection done, all good, no code, and thicker oil added now. The attached video was the worst knocking I heard and it was the first startup immediately after completing the recall and switching to the heavier oil! Is this normal?!
