Let's see those AT4 HD trucks towing!

First post. Here is mine. Trip to Moab for jamboree. Only 500 miles on the truck.
Nice setup. I'm a Trail Guide for the Texas Spur Jamboree. You should come check out our ranch. Here's my two toys.

How stable is that trailer, walking inside, with one jack?

I have a 3 axle trailer that I had to cut-off and add two.
Actually, the trailer is rather stable, believe it or not. I'm not sure why Sundowner went away from two jacks. During this trip, the RV site was level from to back, but the side-to-side that was a little unlevel. Not enough to warrant the leveling blocks. If I didn't look at the level while setting it up, I probably wouldn't have even known. On the previous trip, I had someone sleeping in the garage, and I couldn't even tell he was back there. With all that being said, I have contemplated adding a couple of stabilizers to prevent sway.

I guess that trailer, with outriggers, lifts straight up along side of a house? To allow the re-roof debris to be caught easier? But what are the silver squirrel ear things sticking above the trailer top rails?

Roofers around here use old straight trucks or a tarp drugged to a normal dump trailer, multiple times.

When I commuted to KoP I would see those trailers all of the time. Roofers down here in Maryland don’t use them.
They must not know about them yet haha. These things are a roofers dream. They help keep the site cleaner and reduce the amt of tarping needed. We often do both, but the Equipter definitely makes things easier. You can even use it to crush/spread out your debris in the dumpster. They are fun to operate too. I trained the guys to use it, but I'm out there once a week running one.

Yup, you're exactly right. Can go straight up and out. There are arms you attach to the cans end and sheath with wood for further reach. The ears are stops for the covers/doors. They open like a basement bulkhead.

Thanks for the name. I searched and looked at pictures. That is a awesome little piece of equipment. At first I thought you used it to also haul material to the dump, but no, it self drives to also dump it into a rolloff. What an ingenious contraption.

No problem. Yeah, we use it probably 2-3 days a week and our customers love them too. I only rent it at a daily rate for now. They are quite expensive to purchase, but we're thinking about it for this year. I just wanted to make sure they last and the one we've been renting for the past 2 years is still in service, so passed the test!

Picked it up on 8-27, got my 500 pre-tow miles on it and headed for the Colorado mountains on 9-3.
What weight are we looking at here? I'm in the market for a new 5th wheel toy hauler, but concerned about weight limits...

Have you seen that GMC commercial with the AT4 2500 hauling the two Sherps? If I got all the weights right, sherps and trailer, that is right at the max of what the truck is rated for. That's a lot of weight.
