Interior rattles driving me INSANE!

OMG that is the same sound and problem. The dealer said they now want to rip into the dash because they think it's behind the dash and by firewall. I have 400 miles now. I'm not letting them them rip apart a dash on a new vehicle. This sux and I'm calling GM for options! I already have a case open. Let's stay in touch on what you find out but it sounds exactly the same noise as mine. Thank you for sharing!

No. I sold the truck back to the dealer for $2,550 loss. They found me the exact truck and I bought a new one. All done, it cost me $2,550. GMC would not give me any money towards the cost of the trade and new truck purchase. Very dissatisfied with GMC decision NOT helping a customer that bought a $73k new truck with problems! The dealer an GMC wanted to rip into the dash to find rattle and fix it. This was my decision not to let them fix it. No way was I going to let them rip into a brand new trucks dash. It never goes back the same as from the factory. I'd have more rattles down the road. New replacement AT4 has NO rattles thankfully. I am very happy I went this route.

Cmon GM, get better quality control ! This should have never happened on a $73k truck. Sux I had to pay additional money for a Manufacturer's faulty product...

My 2024 At4X AEV has 1,600 miles and has a clicking noise when I push the brake pedal in. This just started a week or so ago. I already told the Service Manager and he told me to bring it in. A couple of days ago, a slight squeak coming from the top of the passenger window. When I press on the window it goes away. Not sure if it's the glass or the door rubbing on the frame of the vehicle. This shouldn't happen on a $104K truck. I bought some anti squeak tape for the window to see if that will fix it. That was the fix from the service tech on my 2019 Silverado a few years back. That POS had a squeak on the top right of the dash that nobody could figure out and that started about a week after I bought the truck. I did troubleshoot one squeak on the Silverado. It was coming from the knee bolster. I removed that and there were 2 screws that had almost come completed unscrewed. WTF. I swear it's people in the plant that are messing with us.

Happens I had rear leaf springs squeak when turning left or right, after a couple of thousand miles. Dealer tried to fix it; to cut a long story short, they replaced complete rear spring packs and all related hardware; was perfect after that.

The newest noise is coming from the cubby that is in the center console in the cubby right under all of the switches. Like you said, this should not happen non a $104K truck.

I have 1,100 miles on my '24 Canyon AT4 and the rattles drive me crazy as well. Driver side panel seems to be the main culprit. If I press my knee against it, it goes away making me think it needs to be tightened or padded. Not acceptable on a brand new $50k+ truck. Especially if GMC is trying to claim this truck is the "upscale" version to its Chevy cousin.

Did the dealer fix it or did they pretend like you were crazy? I haven't scheduled the appointment yet.
I know exactly what this problem is. Did you figure it out?

I have a new 2025 AT4. The dashboard squeaks and cracks like an old wooden rocking chair…driving me crazy. I took it in to the dealer to get it looked at and they placed a bead of black caulk between the monitor/radio and the dashboard, which did nothing to resolve the noise. Complete waste of time and they cut the leather dashboard finish to boot. This is my first GMC and at the moment I’m having serious buyers regret. Anyone else have squeaky/cracking sounds coming from the dashboard???

Welcome.

I had a noise, similar to Styrofoam on the side of my center console. I pulled off the plastic trip, and wedged a business card in between the materials, and the noise went away.
