Heavy Duty All Terrain Tires

I've always had great experiences with anything from Nitto. My work truck has Dura grapplers (highway use) my old sierra had Terra Grapplers, and if you want something more aggressive go with the Ridge Grappler.

With the aggressive tread design I would expect a little extra highway noise but did you find the Ridge Grapplers to be loud?
They're louder than your typical AT, but not by much. If you listen to music at a low to moderate level, you won't notice the road noise.

I have Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 305/70/R18; perfect for my use, road, snow or rain and done a little over 6000 miles on them.

Here's another interesting tire review for consideration...interesting how much the tires weigh. I love the info this guy gives! Highly recommend subing to his channel just for the info he passes along (I have no affiliation).

I have a set of G3's, in the only size they make in 22's, on order for the '21 1500. Got a set of G2's on it now and want to put new shoes on it before the snow flies. Will post my opinions on them after.

Gonna take alot to make me switch from the EXO's on the other trucks.

The G3's are also 3peak rated.

I have been running Ridge Grapplers for a lot of years now on my trucks. They don't wear long, but I never have had an AT tire that got good wear miles. 25 to 30 K is about what I get out of a set given my usage as a contractor and actually living in the mountains in Montana (pretty rough road to my house, plus all over MT really). But I still think they look the best, and I have not noticed them being loud, or other issues TBH. There are probably better overall AT tires with a similar look, I just always go back to the Ridge Grapplers after looking at the other options. Most other options I look at seem to be a bit more expensive also.

The Terra Grappler is a little less aggressive than the Ridge Grappler to my memory. Correct? Someone let me know if that is right or not. I need new tires here soon, winter is basically getting into real swing where I live 6100 ft on a literal mountainside), so new tires are about to be ordered. Very interested in the Terra G3 that was in that above video. 295/60 R20 will be what I go with, regardless of what tire/brand I get. I like that the Terra G3 may be a bit lighter than the Ridge Grappler, and that it may also have better snow/winter traction. Not sure if they will look quite as nice though...

I had ridge grapplers on my Jeep and liked them but sold them with the wheels they were mounted on. One frustration I had when buying them is they make two very very similar sizes, interchangeable really but they are both in load range E. Would have made so much more sense to make one of those sizes in a C or even a D. 35-12.5-17 and 315/70-17. I guess it doesn't really matter in a truck though.

Did they have the same number and thickness of sidewall ply?
