GM UI Bulletin #205 (Installation of Upfitter Switches(9L7)components

Can you share a couple pictures where you mounted the fuse box? I just received my kit and the location where 404 says to mount it looks very tight. Thanks
It fits where the instructions imply. Right behind my finger on the inside of the panel. If I recall it took a minute or two to orientate it. Most instructions indicate that it bolts in easily. I think I only was able to get a single screw to line up. The other side is a zip tie to a bracket. But it's stable and there is no rattle.

Thanks, When I was trying to fit mine in that same location it seamed to impend the adjustment of the steering column up and down. I'm not sure if I had it telescoped all the way in. I found the UI bulletin for the AT4 and it says "Route wire harness RH side to LH side of under IP, behind the HVAC extension duct that the Aux fuse block is secured to as shown. Secure excess with zip tie straps as needed to prevent rattles and drooping down below the IP". I definitely do not like the idea of having to zip tie the fuse block to secure it.

Its solid in there. aint going anywhere

How bad is it getting the dash pieces apart? Not going to lie, I'm a little leery of ripping into the dash on a brand new truck to hook these harnesses in.

What year and model truck? It was fairly simple. On my truck it was driver side knee bolster and only the center console and the surrounding trim. All the trim is held in by very simple clips. Of all the trucks that I've disassembled this one came apart the easiest. It's a testament of how cheaply they are assembled these days. If you don't already have a automotive trim removal tool kit they are inexpensive on Amazon and worth the few dollars..

As FYI my 25 was special ordered with switches. Unfortunately the console trim around the cup holder had scratches when I picked up and replacement console has been on back order since Oct.

So, should be the same . The hardest part was getting the center console back in... One of the clips was hard to align. I just deleted it and its still solid.

Complete instructions. step by step are able to download from 404 parts. I have the pDF, but can't find the link...

And

I was reading the Bulletin #205 but does anyone have the instructions it refers to for "Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side" and "Front Floor Console Applique"

Did you get that from the 404 parts? I'm looking into this as well to install on mine.
