GM phasing out android auto and apple play.

I can’t use CarPlay in my truck. Volume goes up and down. I closed out every app and restarted phone. Even got a new phone. Still does it. But my phone does carplay just fine in my Ram company truck so I know it isn’t the phone anyway. So I just use Bluetooth in my truck and keep CarPlay turned off

Seems GM keeps finding a new way to design a rope to hang themselves with, don't they? Then us taxpayers can bail them out with our already heavily overtaxed dollar (I live in MN) so they can recycle the same process again. I've been a lifelong GM guy, but that time is coming to an end unless they starting making changes.

When my engine seized, their GM Roadside Assistance gave me two numbers of places to call to arrange a tow. They told me I needed to call! Then, they wouldn't reimburse me without all sorts of details I didn't have (ie. starting tow location, ending location, tow company driver name, etc.). I told them they could reach out to the tow company as that was their job in the first place (I made the calls as it was -5F, windy, and sunset was fast approaching...I had to get things done). To this day, I have not been reimbursed my $330 tow bill, and that was on January 3rd.

So GM is in no position whatsoever to question why GM owners like me should remain loyal to them, when they aren't loyal to the customer.
