Well done.

Part of the appeal of a good factory upfitter solution is retaining an OEM appearance. In my 20s and 30s my trucks ended up looking like airplane cockpits with all the switches and pods. I’m trying to avoid that now — which is hard, as I’ve already added the Banks pod (so I have some idea what my truck is doing…)

For accessory lighting the Garmin bluetooth switch works fine. The buttons appear on the infotainment screen via CarPlay.

I had only intended to install two accessories on the interior: a GMRS radio, and a 12 volt outlet, both of which can probably be powered via the interior fuse blocks, although I haven’t checked on the amperage of ignition-hot-only fuses in the cab. That’s on hold for now.

After dropping $10,000+ on mods we’ve put the AT4X mods on hold, as a change of plans my require a new truck… We’re now leaning in favor of a pickup camper instead of a trailer, so we can still tow the boat or the Jeep on our retirement travels. The payload on a 2500 HD AT4X AEV Duramax is super low — like a light half-ton truck — so there are no good camper solutions. We’ll see.

Yeah, I learned that when watching some videos showing different payload capacities on these trucks. This is why if I felt like I needed the diesel I would get the 3500 but of course they dont make an X in the1 ton.

This was in the ordering guide for the 2025. It was not mentioned in the "new for 2025" section so I missed it. I wonder if the 24s and earlier have the same wiring harness or if there is something different in the 25's. The switch placement is very nice by the spot that is for the shifter in the 1500. I would imagine it will eventually be available separately.

2 words... Fat Butt!

Just ordered them for my 24 AT4... we'll see what they send for mounting bolters areas. there is plenty of room in the current knee bolster if I have to cut my own hole and install on either side of the column...

My truck came with them, just went out and looked and it appears it's only the switches? I see no fuse block behind the knee bolster?

Yes, my 2025 has the switches and bag with a couple cable harnesses and TPMS valve stems for a trailer. No instructions or other info.
Send us pictures. Yours will be the first I have seen for sure, that we will know it's not AI!
