Front floor carpet inserts

I'll say it. My truck is a street diva. I use it to pull my offroad vehicle to where I want to do offroad things. I like having the carpet mat. It keeps my boots and hard sole shoes from sliding around as much as they do on the plastic mats.
I lived and grew up in Phoenix AZ for many years and that will work. However moving back home to Ohio "the rust belt" its REALLY nice having the all weather mats in the truck for the winters with all the snow, and salt build up you can get on the carpet mats. Plus i take my rig off-roading, rock crawling, and mudding around 3 to 4 times a year. So i just keep the all weather mats in.

I totally get it. I grew up on 2 farms. My first truck was a 1978 Chevy with a 400 small block and 4 barrel carburetor with dual exhausts. There was no carpet it in. We just took a hose to the floor boards and cleaned it out that way. Now, I'm in Vegas. But when I travel to where there is "weather," having other flooring options is nice, too. The hybrid flooring in the newer pickups is a good way to go for me.

I would of guessed people would be complaining more about the fact that they had to pay between 75 and 85 thousand dollars just to get the truck that came with 200 dollar replacement floor matts…but that’s just me.

I like the mats as designed. It's easy enough to remove the carpet for those very dirty days. I can see my right heel generating a wear mark in the carpet already. I am sure they will never sell just that part but I wish they did.
I have too many dirty days. Between October and March, even my clean days are dirty days. I guess it might be different if I lived in the city or suburbs and it was always sunny, but I agree with John151ama: fitted rubber mats are more practical for me.

Our AEVs come with nice rubber mats, they are pretty solid.

Yup! For the rest of our vehicles I order fitted rubber mats as soon as we decide to make the purchase. I bought my wife a new jeep Grand Cherokee about three months ago, and the rubber mats were installed before she ever drove it. It’s wet, or dusty, or snowy… Rubber mats are the only way for us to keep the interior pristine with our climate and lifestyle. Just shuttling grandkids to and from sports activities will trash carpet… dirty little critters… 😂

I like that the carpet insert can be removed and replaced. I use it all the time when I pull the boat for the sand and wet feet.

So I just bought myself a nice 2023 AT4. The previous owner or the dealer detailer removed the carpet inserts from the front logoed AT4 rubber floor mats, these carpet inserts are held in with snaps and it looks pretty obvious that the inserts are missing. I love the mats, they are like new and I want to replace these missing inserts. Anyone know where I can buy replacements? Thanks for any help.

Hey man, just seeing this post. Are you still look8ng for th3 carpet inserts? I’ll give you mine if not, never gonna use them.

I just traded in my 1500 AT4 for a 2500. I still have the carpet inserts and would be happy to send them to anyone who wants them for whatever shipping costs.

I would take them but not sure if the 1500 and 2500 are the same. I have a 2500.

The third time I removed the carpet insert for cleaning, one of the snaps ripped thru. I'm not a fan. They really do seem to be a solution in search of a problem.
