Front end clunk

I've got a 24 3500 and it's doing the same thing. They already replaced the rear springs. Only got 2000 miles.
Just noticed this thread. I have the similar noise on my 24 2500HD AT4X and at the dealer they could not find anything wrong when I had an appointment to install a putco tailgate light and I did not have the time to drive them around; the mechanic said they couldnt locate anything loose, however he retorqued everything but to bring it back if I was still experiencing an issue. Having reviewed this thread, I am better educated and will take it back to the dealer for a second look and mention the shackles to him. I mostly hear a groaning sound from the rear when turning at very slow speeds, such as in a driveway or similar.

2023 AT4 Diesel. My clunk started a few weeks ago. 9800 miles. Seems like it is coming from the drivers side front end. Will bring it up to the dealer at the next oil change. Disappointing as she was so quiet up until now. Bone stock.

Leaf spring packs are a known, repeated issue. Same thing I am getting on my 24 AT4 that I had on my 23 Silverado LTZ

Can you describe the circumstances you heard the clunk. I'm only getting it when braking at around 15mph or lower right now...
Turning at low speed, especially over uneven ground. Also, there's some clunk if backing up slow to a stop and then putting it into a forward gear. Same clunk. I don't hear anything in the front.

Just bought a 2022 Yukon AT4 on May 1. I noticed a clunk sound from the left passenger area. Found this in another website:
"The problem can reportedly be duplicated by performing a full left turn followed by a full right turn at slow speeds in an open parking lot. The sound may appear as though it is coming from the front of the vehicle, but in fact could be a loose rear sway bar link upper mounting instead.

To address this issue, a GM technician should inspect the rear sway bar link upper mounting bolt and nut to ensure that they are properly torqued. If the rear sway bar link upper mounting bolt and nut are not properly torqued, the technician should torque the components to 74 pound-feet. With the components properly torqued, the related sounds should stop."

Exactly that clunk condition
At an appointment today to diagnose clunk; Tech Notes: 'Retorqued all 8 spring plate nuts ro spec, Squeak and knock noise did not go away. Had guys on back of truck while I listened with stethoscope and found that theres excessive friction and binding between springs even after completing bulletin above. Recommend replacing the leaf spring assemblies'
SA has leaf spring assemblies on order from their parts dept and will text me when they arrive. :D :D

Well... Just dropped the truck off at the dealer. Something clunking in the front end over bumps out of the driveway and slow speed turns.
Anyone had a similar issue? Sounds like a bad CV axle to me, but I'm fully expecting to get a call with "No trouble found"

Oh also have the annoying rear leaf spring clunk... Anyone want to take bets on if they just cover the springs with grease or not lol.
I have 21 w/ 6.2L w/59k miles and have been having this same clunk issue in the front drivers side for several months. Took it to the dealer once and they couldn’t find anything. They retorqued all bolts but the noise remained. It’s back in the shop right now.

Dealer did get mine fixed. They replaced both rear springs, but that did not work. They wound up taking the springs apart, putting some anti-seize in between and retorquing everything down. Haven't heard in for a while now. They said if that didn't work, or he clunk comes back to let them know. They have additional steps they can try.

Mine is fixed now. On the second visit, the dealer tech used a stethoscope and determined I needed new springs, shackles and the lot. Took around three weeks to get them and they installed and it has been perfect since then.
