What / where is the best price for gm factory warranty. I’m quickly approaching the end of my factory warranty, the local dealer offered me 1800 for 75k miles. On the platinum level.
I'm about the same position as you. Went back and forth in my head and now leaning towards skipping it. Not sure what the 1800 covers for you but I saw prices approaching 5000 for 75k.What / where is the best price for gm factory warranty. How do I find Gary Sutherland? There are like 100 combinations available. Gary Sutherland sells them really affordable. U have to look at how king you may keep the truck.
Wow. It was GM’s bumper to bumper. For 75k miles. Was looking for the 100k miles. But wasn’t offered to me.I'm about the same position as you. Went back and forth in my head and now leaning towards skipping it. Not sure what the 1800 covers for you but I saw prices approaching 5000 for 75k.

I did the research. He is legit, works at a GMC dealer and is a national broker that turns a ton f the warranties. Easy to work with.
I called it was your compressor a while back. I think you need to try another dealership - whoever is doing work for your dealer has no idea what they're doing. Not sure where you live but you might find a lot of your electrical issues gone if your truck decided to celebrate 250 years of freedom this July. I had an electrical issue with mine where it refused to remote start on occasion and my fancy scanner showed an error with the trailer brake system despite me not having a trailer hooked up... Well, when you have a free truck, that comes with solid costumer service and updates being pushed out that solve issues. If your module keeps being replaced and you are still getting the same issue than the issue isnt a module.I wouldn’t worry about it, as the truck has the 100k mile powertrain, but I’ve been battling an electrical issue with service driver assist system. So much tech in these trucks now. My dash goes bonkers, and the dealership keeps changing out modules. Going back in on Monday to replace two more. They swapped out the idler pulley and belt for a squeak but it’s still squeaking. They now think it’s ac related, or fan. Also something isn’t 100% with my steering. Not sure if anyone else has had these issues. But the warranty removes the stress of having them.
Funny enough the brake system controller showed up on their last scan. Said seat module and a different one. Plus the brake system controller. I’m in central KY. Not sure what you mean about electrical issues being gone this July and a free truck, I wish it was free!. I actually take it to a Chevy dealership because I can’t stand the GMC dealership near me. And don’t get me wrong the Chevy dealership has been great. Brand new loaner truck each time always looking into each issue, they are trying to figure it out but these are electrical systems. And it’s garage kept. I’m pretty sure you are right too on the compressor. I mentioned that to them when I was with them during the scan. They will fix the steering issue and once it goes out again, I’ll do the upgrade. 37’s are on the short list, so that will probably be right after.I called it was your compressor a while back. Wasting your $$$ on a warranty and losing time and money will cost you far more than freedom.
As far as your steering issues - your pitman arm is probably on its last leg. They don't last. My first upgrade to mine was the kryptonite ultimate steering system with a stabilizer and my steering to this day is solid.
