Nope; its working on its peak performance. Apparently average regen for the 6.6l duramax (googled) is like every 200 miles for short trips like my driving or 3-600 miles for highway.Sounds like your emission system is on a ticking time bomb.

If I'm reading your scanner correctly, you're in Regen currently.Nope; its working on its peak performance.
You may be correct. DPF_REG_TYP : Active since I mostly drive local and exhaust temperature are usually not high enoughIf I'm reading your scanner correctly, you're in Regen currently.
I idle alot, and putt around on gravel roads. They do get on the interstate when they go into regen and our limit is 75mph, so about 80-82 mph. I'm also not light on the coal pedal when towing.Nope; its working on its peak performance. Never has the 22 or 23 been less than 800 miles.

gm musta rewrote the code on the refresh. Or something is not correct. The 24's regen ~4 times as much! That is alot of wasted fuel. Maybe the'24's dpf is smaller?@gemarsh: Sir! You are the King, me a lowly Baron
, can't compare with my small coin bag which needs refilling every 221 miles.
A sign not to move to a communist jurisdiction! The 2024 Duramax is a little different with more torque, different turbo, fuel system, exhaust brake etc. Sadly I can't even think of a DPF delete since we are considering a move to NV which has an annual emissions test.
How much oil are you burning between oil changes! My 24 HD is doing regens every 350-400 miles the past 16k miles.
It was about every 320-350 until I started using ArchOil.
Now that you mention additives, I was using hot shot. But when I switched to 3x 4oz bottles of Optilube per tank, my Regen miles suddenly went up. I also run the vse filtration system. So maybe that's another factor. My 24 HD is doing regens every 350-400 miles the past 16k miles.

I picked my truck up at Laura GMC and drove it 900 miles home. I brought my iDash with me, and my first regen was at 89 miles, and they seemed to repeat every 150-200 miles after that. After I got through the first tank of diesel I added Archoil and it is around 300-350 when driving on the highway. With my driving needs I either drive 5 miles or hundreds of miles. Most of the time it is short trips around town. The Archoil has definitely helped. I am at 4300 miles and I added a bottle of Archoil 6400-D this morning. I have a trip to Myrtle Beach coming up in a few weeks, so it will get run through the system on my way down. Hoping that the distance between regens goes up a bit.Update after 4 months of ownership. Truck has 8400 miles on it and is going through diesel regen cycles every 110 miles. I’m barely averaging 20MPG
My 2023 LZ0 did a regen about every 350 miles and averaged 24-25MPG.
Truck was in the shop 5 times since November and have an open case with GM. GM engineer tested truck for two days and says there is nothing wrong. Same engine model, same driving habits, same gas stations, fuel additives. I’ve tried every additive, booster, cleaner etc etc.
Looking for suggestions
There's only one suggestion left and I think you know where this suggestion is going... #freedomforyourtruckUpdate after 4 months of ownership. Truck has 8400 miles on it and is going through diesel regen cycles every 110 miles. I’m barely averaging 20MPG
