Different Diesel Fuel Optins

Don't know of any renewable diesel down around this way , only #2 down this way. Wouldn't use it anyway. I don't want too take any unnecessary chances.. Lol

For those using #2 diesel, read the notice on the pump. They can run up to 5% bio in #2 diesel and not post it as biodiesel.

A lot of diesel in California, Oregon and Washington is 20% biodiesel. We own a diesel motorhome with a Cummins ISL 450 HP engine with 1250 pounds of torque. We run both #2 and 20% biodiesel in it and there is no difference in mileage or power.

We run Bio Fuel and "Not to be Called Bio Fuel" Sustainable / renewable fuel we buy at COSTCO and Conoco Stations.
They have better lubrication qualities, maybe feel a little less, barely noticeable power and MPG loss. Used to be 50 cents a gallon cheaper, but if lucky now 5 cents a gallon cheaper.
Runs great, passed smog test by a wide margin.

We avoid cheap DEF.
We buy Peak Blue DEF at Walmart and COSTCO. Usually half the price we find it at Travel stops.

Hard to tell power loss, may be regen cycles mistaken for alternate fuel.

Diesel is $5.09 here. Elections have consequences.

$3.69 in Boise, ID area.
We just dropped down from Weiser headed back home and we're going to miss those prices.

Love the abundant diesel pump access locations all over the state towing a 43 ft Toy Hauler.

Took grandson a Rzr 200 for his birthday
and dropped off Christmas presents the DIL will hold until Dec 25th.

We are around $3.30 in central Iowa. I would recommend the Mudflap app if you don't already use it. Can usually save 15-30 cents per gallon on diesel.

I only use it when it’s all there is. Towing a 13’3” tall, 43’ long ToyHauler ya take where ya fit going in and out and what they got, no choice.
