Dealer Firmware update gone terribly wrong

I have only gotten 1 OTA update.

I have gotten 2, first one came on it’s own-second I checked for updates and found it, was hoping to get the dang X

The only 1 I have got was the day I first bought the truck in December 22 and the only purpose of it was to continue getting updates. Nothing since then even though I check every day.

From what I know in order to get the X is to have the dealer update the cluster with the software version from the service bulletin

Yeah that’s a problem too. Mine I wanted my HVAC fan speed fixed and they seem like they can’t stop frying the amp in my truck. Been without her for a week now

As far as I know I have had one update installed at the dealership, I have had 3 or more OTA updates show up (1 before and 2 after the dealer update) and I have ignored them. They go away and may come back after some time. 22R LM2.

Thanks, but I saw that. At this point, not sure risk worth reward! The whole statement of- they must know what they are doing. When I get time, gonna take to a dealership bout 50 miles away. My local dealership has to use spell check every time they write GMC

Make sure you call GM HQ, they may be willing to make a good will gesture for your troubles
