Made my way down to Ouray. The last time I wheeled here I trailered a full tube chassis rock buggy. Today I summited Imogene pass(13,110’) via Yankee Boy on the Ouray side and it was a bit more of a challenge but the AT4X did very well. Often I picked the harder lines.
Apparently the snobs in Telluride don’t want wheelers in their town so there is no plan to repair the trail on that side.
Black bear is also closed indefinitely. I’m glad I’ve done these before.

Well I’m finally off the boat after a 67 day hitch. Started in Bellevue IA and I’m making my way out to the Black Hills of SD. I bought a gold claim a couple years ago sight unseen. Galena Trails near Sturgis was not listed anyplace that we searched online before we headed there.
We had no clue.
A local group of OHV enthusiasts invited us along and it was excellent.

I will check it out next time one in the Black Hills. I’m seriously considering selling the house and moving back to the Black hills. I miss it so much. I drove past my former house and it made me sad.

It’s not a GMC so it didn’t seem proper to start a thread but I wanted to show off the newest member of my fleet.
I’ve been patient and searching for that one dealer who is desperate to liquidate some inventory. I finally hit.
2024 RZR Pro XP Ultimate

I took a day off work to go pick it up and spend a couple hours riding around. Already ordered about $12k in upgrades. The new roll cage and sliders are at powder coat now.
There will be a complete tear down and build over the winter including new paint. I will reveal when it’s done.
