Blacked Out Emblems

I used Hyperdip which supposedly peels better than plastidip, but still didn’t pull as cleanly as I'd like on the 4's.

I'm going to redo these at somepoint but its been far to humid to even try.
I had this same problem. Tip - GMC sells a pack of 3 black AT4 emblems for the colorado and they are the same exact size as the sierra ones. Cheaper route than buying the sierra logo and everything else they want to sell you for the sierra.

Anyone happen to have the factory chrome/red GMC emblems laying around they'd be willing to part with? I'm in the middle of attempting to separate mine and paint the chrome black, but had the drill bit bite and go thru the front of the C 🤦‍♂️

Welcome.

Anyone have pictures or a video or even the GMC instructions for removing the grill badge on the 1500?

Best way I found was to take off the radiator cover under the hood, then pull out the top active louver, then use some needle nose pliers or something similar to release the tabs.
