I decided to remove the chrome AT4 emblems and install blacked out ones. Also modified the 22-23 grill emblem to fit the 19-21 grill. The black emblems looks a lot better in person, so if you’re debating to change yours out then View attachment 4454View attachment 4455View attachment 4456View attachment 4457View attachment 4458I recommend doing so.View attachment 4468
looks so much better with the black out. how did you remove them? saw some videos online that scared me. ive removed my X5 badges on my bmw with heat gun and fishing line and was a breeze. saw videos online where they had to polish off with an eraser wheel.

so i had the detail shop change mine out for $250 when it went in for the coating. i did leave the Sierra logo off though as i thought the tailgate got busy.

Buckyeye23AT4, I agree totally on the clutter on the tailgate. I think the placement of the bigger "Sierra" we have nowadays combined with the contour lines of the multi tailgate is a bit too much. Good call on leaving that emblem off.

After debadging my truck, I put the new black/red Sierra on the lower left of my tailgate to balance it out.

was a really easy process with the correct tools. I used a heat gun and plastic scraper to remove the badges, then a 3m adhesive wheel remover to remove the double sided tape and adhesive without effecting the paint.

Mine came right off with 14lb test doubled up. Used 3m adhesive remover for the remainder of the goo. Put the new ones in their place. The whole truck took about 40 minutes. Hardest part was removing the grill emblems. Actually used my dremel to cut through the red so I could pry the pieces out. Didn’t want to take the grill off to remove from the back.

Removing the grill is a lot of work. I did it a few months back to install some sequential
Light strips between the grill and top bumper piece

Fishing line is a good idea! Does that work pretty easy? Obviously having a heavy enough tedt weight?

So easy a cave man can do it. Start on a corner and just saw through. Tape the area off first for replacement location purposes and then go to it. Mine was new and came off very easily, but it will work with older vehicles too. The 3m adhesive remover is the key. Works great.

I just didnt want to go to all the trouble. Sacrificed the Red GMC emblems on the front but I'll never use them again so it really didnt matter.

I debadged my 23 AT4X of the chrome emblems, and put on black/red emblems almost like yours. The only emblem I have that is still chrome is the front on the grille. But I am OK with that. I will try to post some pics of mine for reference.
I was just trying to get a price from a company to do the posts and top of cab in black. Looks pretty sick! Did you do it yourself or take it in?

I have a buddy who does tint, wraps, vehicle graphics, etc and he did it. I at times do some things for him at basically materials cost (I am a contractor), so he did my wrap real cheap. I can't even remember how much I paid for the wrap and front window tint - I think $500 or so, which is very cheap. I am very happy with the wrap personally, I think it goes well with the dynamic blue color. There is a poster on this site that wrapped his truck like I did mine, it is where I got the idea from!

I wish I had the foresight to have him put PPE film on the front bumpers. I now have quite a few rock chips in the front bumper, which is a bummer. I still want to either ceramic or graphene coat the truck, but never seem to have the time to get it done. Heck, I rarely even wash my truck due to it usually being dirty from jobsites/etc and winters in Montana are rough on a vehicle and keeping it clean, which is why having a quality ceramic coat on it has been my plan. Just need to get it done!
