BEWARE of UPDATES **Issue back again**

Normally I would agree with you (and I get your humor lol), but gone are the days that dealerships are going to actually pay someone to hand wash cars. Any dealer I've been to that offers that service has an automatic car wash. Which may or may not be better depending on how you look at it.
I am not expecting someone to hand wash my vehicle, after a dealership visit for service. I would be happy with a drive through TOUCH LESS car wash.

I drove truck back home from dealership on Saturday , ran great. Truck sat all day Sunday. Drove truck this morning to the gym, about 15 plus miles, ran great. Left the gym, made it about 1/4 of mile, leaving stop light felt a slight hesitation and then check engine light came on / GMC app notifications came up of an engine / transmission issue / same issue as before, transmission felt like it was slipping and slight hesitation upon acceleration. Luckily I was a few miles from dealership, so I dropped it back off and got a loaner and headed home. Now the wait on what they find wrong this time.

Hopefully it's not a valve body.

So basically, I have a 25 AT4 6.6 gas, owned for a year as a few weeks ago, with no issues . I had an update come up on screen about a month ago and I downloaded it. A few weeks after, I noticed Bluetooth not working and I could not get it sync with my phone (it had been working right up to this point). Took it to dealer, they reflashed the radio and got it working. Picked truck up from dealer , drove a few miles away, check engine light came on and truck started running roughly and I limped it back to dealership. Fault code for crankshaft position sensor. Left truck overnight. Got call next day from dealership, they said one of files on update was messed up and caused it to show the crankshaft sensor code, tech drove truck it’s all good to go. I got in truck, drove it less than a mile, engine light on / running like crap, limped it back to dealership, same fault code. So next day I get call from service advisor, they called GM engineers, told them issue, GM said well did you do this and that, etc. Tech responded I did everything you guys advise us to check and tests to perform. In the end GM admitted that their update corrupted a module / some computer in my truck. GM is overnighting a new module / computer for dealership to install in my truck. So my truck will spend another day at dealership hopefully getting this all sorted out and running correctly. I’m not faulting dealership at all they have been very helpful and got me a loaner vehicle. Glad GM admitted fault , but come on you are causing your own issues with this update crap.
I just had my first update show up on the screen and did it from home yesterday. So far so good. I really hope I don't end up with the same issues you have. Hopefully, this will be the last time and it will be smooth sailing...
