AT4HD Thunderstorm Blacked-out

It's not hard if you sacrifice the original. I find if you take a small pocket screwdriver and pop/pry the red G, M, and C out from the emblem, a person can unclip the latching tabs from the front.
Still need small hands to tie into the headlight harness!

I got the black, backlit, grill emblem installed yesterday. It was more work than it should have been.
Do you have any more pictures on how your A-pillar mounts were bolted on?
Did you have to cut the plastic trim piece where it mounts?

The mounting is pretty close but a little different from the 1500 to the 2500. However yes you will need to trim the plastic trim around the mount and the wire. I didnt like doing this to a brand new truck, however, the trim pieces are fairly inexpensive, so if or when i decide to remove the mounts i can just buy new trim pieces.

Or just trade it in with the notched trim for the next guy. A prospective buyer won't ever notice. 😁

Don't blame you. My son-in-law who lives in BC, skipped GMC due to lack of incentives and loan rates and went with a rival brand. Having said that, all his friends and neighbors drool over my truck when I visit them in BC.

Nothing blacked out here except side marker lights.

I own a at4x aev 1500, and I envy your 2500 at4x aev lol. Drool is a bit much for me over a truck, I save that for the ladies, and guns.

This was the hard part for me. Disconnecting those GM wiring harnesses with one hand in a tight space is a colossal pain in the ass.
