I was contemplating on those for the price. I didn't like the idea of mud, snow/slush, gravel blowing thru the slots and building up on both sides of the flap. The manufacturer needs to offer "non-vented" style to compete with gatorbacks.

I had the larger stock flaps put on the front of mine. They still are not low enough to prevent mud and S**t from spraying onto the side of the truck. There is too large of gap between flaps and running boards

I hear ya. They also make a universal without holes, and you can drill the hole where you need them. RokBlokz makes something similar also. I imagine that even with the holes, that little pebble would have to be a direct shot through one of those holes. Guessing the odds would be in our favor that doesn't happen. We have to deal with snow/slush in Reno also, and my guess would be that as soon as that first layer of slush hits the mesh it would "seal" over the holes.
Have you seen these? Think I found some that work and look similar to Rek-Gen. Found them on the FB group.

I haven't been down a lot a gravel rocks but normal highway driving seems to work fine.

Anyone else have mud flap pictures? Are there any mud flaps that work with the larger stock mud flaps (i.e. - without removal)? Do regular rubber ones work? A lot of them seem to have the setback - is that necessary with stock tires?
I'm in the north east and looking to stop some of the rocks and salt from getting on the truck.
I've looked at the logo'd Gatorbacks from GM Accessories, Gatorbacks from Realtruck (I'm assuming no changes from 24 to 25 models), the Five Star mentioned by Zeus2018, Putco Solid Black Mud Skins, and Rockstar Hybrid Splash Guard Mud Flaps.

They are very expensive imo …but I choked up the money because they seem to be the only clean looking option giving good debris protection for the side of the truck and the steps in winter.
I put on a set of Husky flaps. they fit nicely and do a decent job.

Did you use the screws off your truck? I went to install on my 2025 2500hd AT4 and couldn't get all screws to reach.
I had to get some longer ones, found them on Amazon.

I just did Husky's on my 22 last week. Factory screws worked perfect. Trick it to get them all started defore tightening them down. Clips were a bit of a pain, used a small dead-blow on them.
Like you the screws were long enough on my 2022 but they were too short on my 2024. I'm guessing GM made a part number change and started using shorter screws on the newer models.
