ARB Air Compressor Install

Yep, very familiar with this setup. The truck is a different animal where the compressor will be for occasional use for maybe one tire. In the Jeep its regular use to air up all 4 after a trip. Im fine with the compressor under the hood in the truck but not in the Jeep.
Yep, I get it. I’m assuming there’s more room under the hood in the truck as well. And you are correct, occasional use only. This is more for convenience than anything else. My experience with the Kraken, powered by the ARB Pressure Control unit (controlled by app), has been amazing; I’d suggest it to anyone. With it, you don’t need to use a pressure gauge to air up, or air down. This is a tool I wish I had years and years ago. The Kraken was expensive, but with the ease of install and quality of parts, I’d buy it again in an instant.

well shoot, not for AT4, deleted that wrong info...

there's also....https://404parts.com/collections/ne...denali-hd-upfitter-auxiliary-switches-package
I don’t love the location of these switches; I realize it’s the only spot for them, but I can’t imagine potentially reaching through the steering wheel to get to them.

The beauty of the Switch-Pros is in the high beam trigger and reverse trigger, where you can manually turn on your lights (also having a choice between being ignition controlled, or live all of the time) while also have them turn on by the triggers. There are also no fuses and no moving parts; 100% solid state. Again, it’s an expensive piece of equipment, but in the two I am current using, they work fabulously. I just wish there was a custom mount for our trucks. The owner of Switch-Pros replied via email yesterday and told me that one group is working on them (JJ Performance). I have a call into them today and will post what they tell me.

I cannot find the specs for any of the arb compressors. Max psi or cfm.
I believe I have seen cfm numbers from them on their website. The dual is a true dual. Just multiply the cfm and amps of the single by 2. I have one or more of each.

I have this in my Wrangler. The ease of having two air ports, one on each side of the vehicle, is very important to me, plus I don’t have to raise the hood to use it. I have called these guys to see if I can buy the parts needed: a port for each side, the connector tube to connect each side, and the single hose and bag kit (these two I know I can get). I won’t use their mounting plate, just borrowing their idea, ha. The simplicity at which they make installing the ARB and the Pressure Control Kit makes me want to buy their entire kit again!

And, my Tyger Box showed up today. Thanks again @john151ama
Good deal, the plastic is surprisingly thick. Hope it works well for your project

Decided to go with an ARB Twin and I’m using the Epic Kraken kit that is designed for a JL Wrangler. But it comes with all parts needed. I’ll post here as I go. The ARB Pressure Control is on order so this may take a couple of weeks to finish.

That is looking awesome! Looks like a great fit in there and still plenty of room for storage as well. Great thinking adding a port on both ends. The thickness of that Tiger box makes mounting really easy and secure. Well done!

Looking good Bob!

Thanks guys. Although I'm kicking myself for not putting the Tyger box back in the back and THEN doing my plate level with the ground. It's slightly tilted, and being anal like I am, that frustrates me. And on the passenger side, I meant to put it lower, but I don't know how I got the plate hanging off the bottom of the Tyger; I guess I'm getting old! (53 in March) I continue to live and learn.

I just ordered the ARB Pressure Control kit; hopefully I'll get this finalized in the next week or two. Thank you guys for the support and the replies! Merry Christmas to you all.

Really nice install man. Once you get it all wired up, let me know how loud it is in the cab.
