They confirmed it’s the idler pulley bearing And belt. Just waiting for the loaner to come available. I’ll test this out next time it’s driving me nuts at a red light. But I agree most GM products make that sound. Which is crazy for 100k vehicles. And that pump whine that they make. I assume it’s a power steering pump or something. Mine doesn’t make that sound but my in-laws Tahoe and suburban does.
