I own an AEV jeep, Wrangler, JL 370. I paid $23,000 for the upfit. Although I love AEV as a company, I can tell you that the communication through that process was miserable. Although one may think they’re a custom accessories company, they are trying to crank stuff out for the masses to make the money.
I have befriended one of the North American directors and he did confirm that they are working on a bull bar for the 2500. Nothing yet for the 1500 but he thinks that that will be next. You guys with your 2500s are lucky that some lights will fit into the holes in the front bumper; 1500 guys have a piece of metal back there that doesn’t allow us to flush mount anything. I’m adding a pair of Baja S2s as a surface mount on front of those covers. There is a thread on this form about a guy who mounted some flush mounted lights in his holes on his 2500 bumper.
