AEV Front Bumper Light Brackets

I finally got this DONE!!!

First of all @SPhelps23 a huge thank you for making the brackets and the instructions for installation were incredibly helpful. I'm like a monkey humping a football when I get something new to install on my truck so of course I didn't take the time for pictures during the process but I'll add some finished pictures at the end.

Here's a breakdown...

BRACKETS: holy crap Sam these things are BEEFY! After bolting them down I actually stood on them with my tip toes, I'm 6'0 and 220lbs, and nothing even budged. Craftsmanship was great and they fit perfectly in the limited area that they were designed for.

GRILL REMOVAL: Follow Sam's detailed instructions and you'll be fine. A plastic trim removal tool, patience, and time are your best friend. In my experience the connector to the front camera was a huge pain in the ass to get undone. Otherwise just grit your teeth while the panels pop apart.

LIGHTS: The Baja Designs XL Linkable 5-pod Light Bar is crazy good. I'm a Jeep guy and have installed Rigid, KC, Vision X...the color temp and output from this relatively small bar is incredible (even if it's expensive). Also love that each light's pitch can be adjusted individually (I aligned the center which is a spotlight with my brights for example) and that you can decide if you want it to be straight or curved (mine is curved for maximum light spread).

POWER: I cannot recommend the Garmin Powerswitch enough. I've had s-pods in Jeeps & Polaris Razors, factory auxiliary switches, and everything in between. Direct connect to battery, 6 30-amp outputs, bluetooth connectivity (no running any wires through the firewall) and most of all...CARPLAY CONTROL through your head unit. Running a 12-volt DC plug for my Dometic Fridge in the bed and ditch lights will be next.

***NOTE ***
The Linkable XL Lightbar WILL display in your front camera when parking and cause some artifacts on the birds-eye view of the camera system. Not a dealbreaker for me by any means but just something to note.

If this is a project you want to take on I cannot recommend the brackets from @SPhelps23 enough and love that there's a community of folks making the aftermarket add-ons better for us!

Where the hell are the monkey pictures? 😁

Awesome! Glad you like them. I may have to look into the Garmin setup, looks pretty handy. Thank you for the review and kind words.

Do you have a pic of how you mount the bracket? Also, will this mount work for a normal AT4 (non-AEV)?
I do not know if it will work for a non X truck. There is a very small spot that these go through between the grille and front bumper

You mentioned your center is a spot light. what other lights did you use?

What do you mean by artifacts in the birds eye camera view?

Do you think the lights will clear the winch handle?

Thanks. I saw the camera views provided. I was asking him to clarify as the use of artifacts as it seemed out of place to me.

Still working on the bar for mounting individual lights. It will attach to these main brackets when complete to keep things simple
I am looking to mount a Baja designs 40 in light bar. Would your mounting brackets work for this. Thinking I just need to brackets and not your bar. If so I would be interested in purchasing
