Hey all, on the truck I'm hoping to purchase ... 2026 GMC Sierra 2500HD AT4 diesel ....

I want to add a connection terminal to/at/on/near one of the batteries. It needs to handle a 60A DC fuse and 4 to 2 AWG wire (depending upon total length).

It goes from one of the trucks batteries to the back of the bed and then on to the 5th wheel camper, Victron DC-DC 50A charger with an Anderson connector in the bed of the truck.

I don't like the way I did it on my current 2013 Sierra 2500HD diesel and I'd like something that's more professional looking and more durable.

What are peoples thoughts on how to add another high amp 12V connection point to this system?

Thanks,
john

You could always run something like this, although it looks like they’re currently out of the 60A models:

Blue Sea Systems has a similar one in 60A:

I would use the stock power distribution set up. On top of the battery is a main power bus bar. That feeds additional fuses if you choose to install them and connection points for power. I did this with a 200 amp fuse feeding my winch solenoid, and 60 amp feeding my sound system amps. You can see the fuses and power cables connected going out to my accessories. The red cable goes to my winch, black goes to a fuse block under the back seat in side the truck that then feeds both amps. Very clean, secure, and OEM. I think I used 2 and 0 gauge cables there and put on proper crimp on copper terminals for connection to the studs.

Very, very nice! That's exactly what I'm looking for ... thank you!

The fuse kit part number is 84669070.
Includes a 200 and 60 amp fuses, busbar, and studs and nuts.

ETA...that's gm's part number.
