It took a bit of work but that piece turned out well and fits perfectly. I also made copies of goose gear rear seat 60/40 delete.
You got the 392!! Wow. Don’t think I could have resisted that when I bought mine, but the diesel and 392 weren’t available yet. Probably just as well… but they sure are cool.
How loud is the ARB compressor when running?
It's a stupid fun machine. I let myself make a once in a lifetime financial misguided decision. Love it!
In my case irrelevant. It's not like it runs when I'm driving or even sitting in the vehicle.
It’s fairly loud, but we’re out of the jeep when we’re inflating tires, so it’s not bothersome.
Was thinking about getting one for my truck, but may want to install it outside of the cab as it would also run my rear air bags I'm going to install. So was curious how loud it was compared to other compressors.
Where? I do too but with the diesel there is not much room under the hood.
Well there are spots under the bed of the truck, and a few smaller spaces in the engine compartment of the 6.2l gas truck. Unsure of the diesel truck however. Also wasn't sure if the price of the ARB compressor was worth it as far as sound, vibration, and cfm compared to other brands.
I have air bags in the Jeep and I don't even have the compressor plumbed for them because they so rarely need air adjustment. I guess it would be different if you frequently haul heavy loads and change the pressure of the bags.
I bought the twin ARB because of it’s inflation speed, which makes a big difference on 37” tires, and the reputation for durability. I didn’t even consider vibration or how loud it might be. They definitely vibrate, and they generate a lot of heat.
