New motor was approved under warranty. They didnt explain the problem, just cylinder 1 spun a bearing and did catastrophic damage. With the front seal being done around 2k miles ago, my theory is this:
Rtv pushed into the pan. Was picked up by screen on pickup tube. Oil was restricted, volume was not the same, but not enough to throw low oil pressure code.
Motor went through a few heat cycles where the bearing(s) got hot.
When it finally let go, there as load or higher rpms that finally made the volume restriction become too much and the bearing finally let go.
Not sure what else it could be...have a hard time wanting to belive this thing just let go. I have 10/32nds left on the ORIGINAL DURATRACS. The original tires outlasted the motor...
