2024 GMC AT4 HD Photo Thread

Nice to see you putting that truck to work! How's it handle with the extra SXS trailer on the back of the 5th wheel? Do you ever run into any issues towing like that?
That’s why I bought it, had a 2017 3500 denali, but needed the upgraded gcvw.
It doesn’t even know that extra 2500 lbs is back there. Never had an issue towing, you just can’t do it on the East Coast States or the left coast states, and a couple in the middle. If you don’t do any thing stupid and mind you own business, the cops don’t bother you.

Very nice. Is that Volcanic Red Tintcoat? Looks brighter than I expected. Also, are those aftermarket wheels?
It is Volcanic Red Tintcoat and it's gorgeous. Funny thing I ordered a Silverado 2500 in Radiant Red Tintcoat but when it came in it looked orange to me so I cancelled the order. I continued to look and came across this, in transit, on on a dealers website, I fell in love and put money down over the phone. The wheels are stock from GMC. It does look bright but under different light it looks darker. I dropped it off at the Dealer today, they're installing a tonneau cover and mud flaps. I also replaced the high clearance steps for lower ones.

Yeah, I see those wheels as a factory option on the site. I'll have to try to find one to see in person. Most of the other colors are boring (but still look great). I'm trying to decide between a 1500 and 2500 and one thing the 2500 has going for it is the availability of factory power retractable steps.

My 24 AT4 HD that I've removed the Vader Chrome and Red logos. I'm leaving the red hooks for now.

Working on the hood badges and door badges next.

Out with the old and in with the new. 842 miles on her and I'll have my Sundowner attached on Thursday for a trip.

I went with PlastiDip for now. I wanted to see if I wanted them in a matte finish or glossy finish.
I will most likely get them in a matte finish later on or completely remove them.
Understood. If you look at my post above this one, my Chevy was heavily plastidipped. It actually lasted quite a while. It's a pretty impressive applicant. This truck will slowly get further blacked out.

I just traded in a 2022 Silverado 1500 RST and it is a great truck. It drove great, very comfy, and it had balls. In sport mode it was fast. I only traded to the 2024 Sierra 2500 AT4 because we tow a travel trailer and I needed a little more power. I moved to the GMC because it's fricken beautiful, drives a bit stiffer than the Silverado but still very comfy.

Little Photo Dump of the Vehicles. Still working on blacking out the truck but I'm getting close. Still need to get all the Vadar Chrome painted gloss black on the front end, and then get the tail lights and 3rd brake light tinted. Last Picture is the most current, with the Color matched fender flares and the Smoked clearance lights.
