2024 2500/3500 Build and order status

Dealership said they should throw it on a truck shortly. Which isn't helpful really.

You've gotten more data than I have. I'm just waiting day by day and hoping to hear something soon. Then I have to drive 9.5 hrs to take delivery.

Have you asked for the print out that shows everything about the truck with the dates? I asked and got mine.
I found stuff I asked for isn't on it and they completely put wrong steps on my truck.

9.5 hours after getting the exciting call to get the truck? I hope when the day comes it's a great day for traveling.

To be fair, I didn't order it but found one "in transit" with exactly what I wanted and I put a small deposit on it to secure it. So no, I have not asked for the build sheet, but that's not a bad idea. To this point, I've been referring to the Window Sticker.

I enjoy driving, so the 9 hr. drive will be great once that time comes.

Ah you got lucky finding one instead of playing the ordering game. Good job on finding one.
I'm still waiting on winder sticker to come available.

Definitely a good way to break in the new vehicle.

I started with the ordering game, then learned how it works and realized I'd be waiting forever. I did get luck, just had to expand my search. Definitely a good way to break in the new truck; before I start hauling my trailers.

Mines sitting at flint waiting for transport as well. My build was complete on 8/8 and has been sitting ever since. Very frustrating

Well, my Beast showed up yesterday outta nowhere, stopped in Monday around 2 pm and they told me it was still sitting at the rail yard
with 6 other vehicles they had on order. Around 9 am got a text that it had just been unloaded. Felt like I hit the lottery since we’re leaving on an extended RV trip around Labor Day. Now I got to get some miles on it before we leave.

I got an email from GM chat parsons I talked to previously saying mine is in transit today. Then noticed on dealership site it shows up there as being in transit with another one.

Mine shows up on my dealership website and GMC website as in transit also. I called gmc customer service yesterday and she told me it was waiting for a rail car, hoping she’s wrong lol

Does the column shifter block the infotainment that bad? Can you adjust the telescopic steering wheel low enough that the column shifter doesn’t block the infotainment screen as much?

I just got my AT4 and didnt notice it blocking the screen that bad. Looked like it blocke the left lower corner a little. It may depend on how you have the seat adjusted and the steering column.

Yeah was wondering if you adjusted the steering wheel to be lower if that would help. Trying to watch YouTube videos if it’s possible.

Hopefully she is wrong and they are actually in transit and we're not waiting for rail car/anything else.

Found out via the dealership mine isn't coming via rail. They said it is coming via truck as it's faster. Other than that no eta except for hopefully this month.
