2023 Ordering Experience

Picked her up today and I have to say. It was worth the wait. Now to get used to all the technology and get the tint done ASAP!

My dealership got a 6.2 accepted last week, but denied my loaded at4 build. GMC gave them a Denali instead of the AT4. Anyone having similar issues? I'm considering putting a downpayment in with a larger dealership like Laura to see what happens. I just didn't know if they aren't giving any allocations for the loaded 6.2's or if there's one part or another that is holding it up. 6+ weeks in and still no progress...

I just watched the local two dealers for about a month and all the surrounding areas inventory. One black 23 AT4X with AEV bumper showed up at one dealer (I did not want black) then week later two white AT4Xs showed up with AEV bumper and I bought one 3 days later. I never ordered anything, got the exact truck in the color I wanted. I was there at the dealership last friday 2-17-23 and the one white and black 23 AT4Xs were still on the lot. dealer is https://www.fowlerbuickgmc.com/VehicleSearchResults?make=GMC&model=Sierra 1500&bodyType=TRUCK&year=2023&trim=Crew Cab Short Box 4-Wheel Drive AT4X

Inventory shows 3 in stock now.

That's really tempting.. its an additional 7k but then all I need to do is level it! My wife won't be real happy with you if I go this route!

Ordered 6.2 AT4 from Laura in August. Still waiting on GM to pick up the order.

I ordered a 6.2 from Laura in August as well (after getting bumped into a 2023 from an initial January 2022 order from a local dealer). I was told they received 10 allocations for 6.2's on 2/2/2023. The premium package was under constraint, so I moved to the preferred and figured I can bolt on the boards later. My order went to 3100 on 2/17, and 3300 on 2/20 (no TPW as of yet). Hoping that I'll finally have a truck maybe 15 months after putting down a deposit.

Anyone with a recent build know how long it normally takes to get to 3400 and then 3800?

I noticed that the 6.2's seemed to be going mainly to Denali, AT4X (obviously), but also SLT's, which is mind boggling to me. Hopefully things start getting better for everyone... not sure which is more painful, waiting 15 months for a truck, getting a 2022 accepted and still stuck in purgatory, or having a 2022 with missing chips.

Did they add a Market adjustment to the price on yours? Just curious because I bought a new 2022 at4x non aev edition a couple of months ago with high clearance steps for 80k. Just making sure I didn't over pay. Most dealers I spoke with wanted 85-90k.

Ordered a Deep Bronze Metallic AT4 on 2/8/23. Dealer said today it went to 3300. No TPW. I originally wanted to buy a desert tan AT4 they had on the lot, and while i was talking #s with the salesman, he came back in and said “we just sold it to someone else”. I was quite irritated and left. A few days later he called and said they had another tan that was allocated to the dealer with an appx 8-12 week time frame. I asked about the deep bronze, and he said they also had a deep bronze allocated with the same time frame. Hopefully the 8-12 week timeframe is accurate since it sounds like they were already in progress. Reading through some of these comments has me concerned though. I don’t want to wait a year

Not much off but then again I traded in a 7 year old low mileage Denali HD Duramax at market value of $45k, yea it was worth more but good luck getting an individual buyer in todays economy to be worthy enough to even finance what it is really worth. Dealers can.

Received this email earlier this week. Anyone know if this means it was actually being built this week or just accepted for production?
